Last time I was home my grandmother gave me some fillets from a shark my uncle's friend caught. I instantly knew what I wanted to make with them, one of my favorites, fish... er... shark tacos! So Saturday night we made our first dinner together — the delicious shark tacos along with homemade guacamole and corn salad. Besides a little bit too much lime (in the corn salad, my fault!)... everything was amazing we totally stuffed our faces (as shown above)!

weekend at the park
It was such a beautiful weekend! AJ came down to visit and he brought little Tofu, his 6 month year old frenchie. Since it was so nice we decided to take Tofu to the dog park. However, when we got there, there was only one other dog. BORING! So we decided to take a walk through Baker Park to see if we could find any friends for Tofu there. We ended up running into a very overweight pug named Pierre [wish I had a photo!] and some very cute ducks. We all had a lot of fun for most of the walk... until towards the end when Tofu got a little over heated. But don't worry we cooled him off with a nice frosty neck pillow (ice cubes wrapped in a towel, shown above) and refreshing ice water!
