With my summer vacation getting close to its end I'm taking a break from design=love. I'll be back mid-August with a whole new look for the blog and my portfolio site. So in love with the Tarina Tarantino's Lucite "Dunny" necklaces. The one above is adorable [mmm spaghetti], but in true Kidrobot and dunny fashion, they are sold blind. So you don't know what yours will look like until you get it!

a flowery summer

During a weekend adventure with AJ to Annapolis, MD we came across this amazing hydrangea bush. I think they might be my favorite flower ever. They're like big bursts of prettiness. I adore the big green leaves and the bunches of pink, lavender, and blue. 

 

Inspired by summer flowers, I came across these awesome felt brooches designed by Jane. Her color palettes are lovely and her attention to detail is amazing. Each piece is handmade, totally unique, and beautiful! Be sure to check out her blog to see more of her process and inspiration.

vintage tin prettiness

Some of my favorite things to collect are vintage tins and perfume bottles. I currently have a small collection but hope to add to it over the years. I'm obsessed with the girlie colors, borders, vignettes, and typography but also ones that are more geometric and bright. I can't wait to visit some flea markets this summer to see if I can spot any. In the mean time, you can start your own collection with these adorable finds on etsy!

taylor reeve's fancy pants

How awesome are these skinny jeans painted by Taylor Reeve? I have been a fan of Taylor's work for a while and when I checked out her etsy I was blown away by these fancy hot pants. She also has a number of beautiful hand-painted skate decks as well as custom shoes available for you to buy. I love her unique style of bold illustrated lines and bright colors. Her girls are totally sexy, but they also have a sweet innocence to them. Be sure to check out more of Taylor's work on her site as well as the sweet shades and goggles she designed with Dragon.
